Industrial Endosulfan (Purity≥ 94%) is light yellow or brown crystal, with an odor of sulphur dioxide. Melting point 70-100, Vapor pressure is 1.2Pa(80), Solubility (22℃)in Water : α-Endosulfan 0.32mg/l, β-Endosulfan 0.33mg/l;(20℃);200a.i./l dichloromethane , ethyl acetate, toluene ; 65g/l ethanol ; 24g/l in hexane. It is stable in sunlight, unstable in alkaline mediums and subject to slow hydrolysis to diol and sulphur dioxide.It is corrosive to iron and may be used with non-alkaline pesticides.
