The Ministry of Agriculture launched the 2014 "Hundred Villages and Ten Thousand Households Survey" activity
During the critical period of agricultural production in the spring, the Ministry of Agriculture launched the 2014 "One Hundred Villages and Ten Thousand Households Survey" activity, dispatching 108 cadres and scientific and technological personnel to form 27 investigation teams. In early March and early April, they conducted two batches of in-depth investigations in 27 provinces (cities, districts) across the country, conducting a one month rural household survey to comprehensively understand policy implementation, spring plowing preparation, animal epidemic prevention, agricultural product markets, farmers' income increase, rural reform, and social and public opinion, And carry out targeted thematic research in conjunction with the center's work.
The Ministry of Agriculture requires all members of the investigation team to consolidate the achievements of the first batch of Party's mass line education and practice activities, and further improve their work style. At the same time, we should actively participate in the second batch of educational practice activities, drive and guide local agricultural system party members and cadres to solidly carry out activities to serve the farmers, promote the implementation of the policy of strengthening agriculture, benefiting agriculture, and enriching agriculture at the grassroots level, help farmers solve practical difficulties in agricultural production, and strive to promote the second batch of educational practice activities to achieve good results. All members of the investigation team must strictly comply with the requirements of the central eight point regulations, continue to maintain and promote the good work style of the agricultural department, which is hard working, serving "agriculture, rural areas, and farmers", seeking truth and practicality, and being clean and efficient, and establish a pragmatic and honest image for the people.
This year's "One Hundred Villages and Ten Thousand Households Survey" activity places greater emphasis on targeted and effective measures. The briefing requires fewer but more precise requirements, and encourages each investigation team to record the research process, insights, and results by writing a public sentiment diary. After the survey is completed, each survey team will submit one survey report and one special research report, proposing 1-2 prominent problems and urgent problems that need to be solved in grassroots agricultural and rural economic work. After the summary of the investigation report, it will be submitted to the relevant departments and units for reference. The issues and difficulties raised by each group will be submitted to the relevant departments and units for research and handling as matters of government supervision.
It is understood that since February 2011, the Ministry of Agriculture has organized the "One Hundred Villages and Ten Thousand Households Survey" activity for four consecutive years. In the first three years, a total of 335 government officials have been dispatched to visit 1003 townships and 23219 farmers, and more than 400 local agricultural department officials have participated.
